All volunteers must have an approved application on file with the Duval County Public School System. This application needs to be renewed every two years.

Elan Events

The Elan staff has several upcoming events. We'd love help running the merchandise booth as the students need to have an adult present to collect money. Please sign up for any shifts you can help out with.

Creative Writing Events

3/11/25 - Field Trip Chaperone needed

4/3/25 Freshman Reading, 7pm-9pm DuBow Theatre

I. Need non-freshman parent to run concession and merchandise table during event.

II. Need assistance with streaming this event via social media for fund raising.

- This is a possible opportunity for set up and break down for a student in need of volunteer hours.

Senior Night

We need to make this night special and memorable for our seniors. To make it great, we need volunteers to assist with the event. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up.

Volunteer to Earn Dollars Toward Your Enrichment Fees

While the Creative Writing Department relies heavily on Enrichment fees to help us host events, we understand that full financial support may be challenging for families. If you have not paid your annual enrichment fee for the year, we're offering the option to earn a credit toward your dues by volunteering. Every volunteer hour fulfilled on behalf of a student will earn $10 which can be applied to the $150 fee. There is no limit to the number of volunteer hours you can work. If you would like to participate in this program, simply sign up to volunteer and let the booster committee know that you want your volunteer hours to be applied to the annual fee.
