Coffee House is an annual event featuring a collaboration of the arts areas at Douglas Anderson. A theme is selected by the Junior and Senior creative writing classes in early fall. Recent themes have included From Roots to Growth, Ancient Voices, Doors & Keys, Architecture, Electricity, and Destinations.

All students have the opportunity to audition their work in collaboration with another art form, such as writing and dance. All work must be 100% original, from the writing to the choreography, and incorporate the theme in its interpretation.

Coffee House is held in the DA Gym and the adjacent outdoor amphitheater.
